The strategy of PATLAB, aligned to the national strategy of the R-D-I domain in Romania, is to integrate successfully with high level advanced competitive modern instrumentation for research-development as a research laboratory of excellent international status and competence into the new European and national research networks. This should be done in participation with consortiums, networks and technology platforms and in co-operations formed by institutes, universities, industries and economic agents for approach of technological and scientific development programs, which will lead to a social and economical development of our country. It was furthermore clear that the investment into the FIRST and SECOND PHASES of PATLAB, the Process Analytical Technology Laboratory in Bucharest was very successful as is eminent from interests with possible collaboration from universities (attracting young Masters and PhD-students), research institutions and various industries nationally and within the European programs and even also the USA.
